AOD will coordinate the dental office with our anesthesia team.

When a patient is considering anesthesia, educate them about AOD services, including our preoperative evaluations and our fees.

Once the patient has decided to use AOD for treatment, have your office contact us. We ask the dental office to provide us with two appointment times that will work with both the patient and the practice, dental office and include patient demographics. Please ensure they fill out and sign all appropriate documents, which can be found under the Forms tab here on the website.

These forms can be faxed (214-396-5030) or emailed to us

From there, our scheduling coordinator will choose an anesthesiologist that will be the best fit for the patient, communicate with the patient, collect payment from the patient and confirm with the dental office. We do not charge the dental office for this service.

All of our anesthesiologists will conduct a preoperative exam via a telephone call to obtain all the necessary medical information. They will also discuss the anesthetic plan and review all pre/post-op instructions. Our doctors may also communicate with the patient’s primary care physician, to obtain any needed medical clearances to ensure the patient is medically suited for dental treatment under anesthesia.
